CGS TYRES receives approval for Continental agricultural tires in John Deere high horsepower segment

Continental agricultural tires by CGS TYRES are now released on the powerful John Deere tractors in the upper horsepower range. For the series 6030/6030 Premium, 7030/7030 Premium, 8R as well as 9030, Continental agricultural tires are directly fitted as original equipment at John Deere´s tractor manufacturing plants.

“This reinforcement of CGS TYRES as an original equipment tyre supplier to John Deere enables us to strengthen our position in the high horsepower tractor segment” says Lutz Rose, Key Account Manager Original Equipment CGS TYRES.

Continental agricultural tires are now available on all John Deere tractors – from 5E series up to the 9030er series.

The tractors with engine-power class up to 133 kW (180 hp) are equipped with the well-known ContiContract AC 85, ContiContract AC 70 and ContiContract AC 65.

The Continental SVT is equipping tractors with more than 180 hp (132 kW) and harvesters. The extremely large volume of air contained in the Continental SVT guarantees gentle ground handling combined with very high load capacities and lowest possible inflation pressure ensuring highest yields.

Being the first manufacturer to do so, John Deere now offers the possibility to equip its tractor series with the innovative Continental SilentSpeedTire (SST). The SST reduces the noise level in the driver‘s cab by 50 per cent at speeds with more than 40 mph. In addition the Continental SST provides the excellent technical attributes and benefits for farmers of the 65 series.
